Are you from Portland?
Yes. Our roots are proudly in Norwich District, located about three miles west of Port Antonio. This is the same community where Trevor Berbick, former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, was born. Portland’s heritage, culture, and natural ingredients shape everything we produce.
What makes your jerk seasoning different?
Our jerk seasoning is the original, all‑natural, traditional Portland-style jerk — crafted from real herbs and spices grown in the parish known as the birthplace of authentic jerk culture.

Do you use artificial preservatives or additives?
No. All Portland Authentic products are made using natural herbs, spices, and traditional methods. We do not use artificial preservatives, fillers, or flavor enhancers.
Is your jerk seasoning spicy?
We offer both Mild and Hot & Spicy varieties.
- Mild delivers authentic Portland jerk flavor with gentle heat.
- Hot & Spicy brings the full traditional fire of Scotch Bonnet peppers.
Are your products made in Jamaica?
Yes. Every Portland Authentic product is crafted, bottled, and packaged in Jamaica, using ingredients sourced from local farmers and communities.
Do you ship internationally?

Is your jerk seasoning gluten‑free?
Yes. Our jerk seasoning is naturally gluten‑free, made from herbs, spices, and traditional ingredients without wheat or gluten-containing additives.
How long does your seasoning last after opening?
Once opened, our jerk seasoning stays fresh for up to 12 months when refrigerated. The flavor actually deepens over time as the spices continue to cure.
Can your jerk seasoning be used on more than just chicken?
